CALL UMASS AMHERST TO DENOUNCE SJP’S JEW HATRED

The University of Massachusetts Amherst community has reached a breaking point of intolerance as a faction of students from the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) antisemitic group recently attacked a group of Jewish students ahead of a public-school event.

The event, called “A Talk with An Ethiopian Israeli”, featured Waga Brok, an Israel fellow at the University of Illinois, who spoke about her experience as a Jewish woman of color. This was an educational event meant to create a dialogue among a broad group of students with diverse opinions.

Following SJP’s public attack, the event was zoom-bombed with vicious hate speech - repeatedly calling Brok the N-word and viciously attacking her in the comments section.

The UMass administration has been silent on this grotesque display of racism.

Shortly after this antisemitic zoom-bomb incident, the Hillel Jewish Center was vandalized with graffiti - on International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

These acts are unacceptable and the students responsible must be immediately expelled. The consequences for antisemitism on campus must be severe or this hate will continue to spread.

Call UMass Amherst to denounce these hateful acts, investigate, and expel any student involved in these incidents.
